СЕО Euro Pacific Capital Питер Шифф рассказал в своем Twitter, что, если Китай продаст на мировом рынке казначейских облигаций внешнего долга США на $1 трлн, он «обанкротит», доллар, сильно снизив его курс.
If China dumps $1 trillion in Treasuries, it also dumps $1 trillion onto the FX market. If the Fed buys those Treasuries it adds another trillion dollars to the money supply. The dollar would tank, further adding to the purchasing power of the Chinese to buy the goods they make.
